This workshop will blow your mind; take a walk through the dynamic landscape of your brain, learn about its awe-inspiring ability to adapt and change in structure and function. With this basic foundation in this concept of brain plasticity, we will review some of the most current medical research examining how yoga practices influence the brain in ways that promote well-being and benefit various conditions such as chronic stress, mental illness and aging . This talk is delivered to suit all backgrounds, and aims to help dispel some of the skepticism around yoga's therapeutic potential.
